About the company

Founded by an executive team that have decades of successful tech scale up and multiple exits between the. This is an AI-powered CRM Platform for Marketing, Customer Service, and Payments, powering marketing across channels like Email, SMS, and WhatsApp. The company utilises NLP to analyze customer trends and needs to provide accurate insights and strengthen the relationship. 

The Role

 

This rapidly scaling start-up are seeking a player/manager to lead a significant global sales team of 25 heads whilst carrying a quota. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to step up into this position whilst building and implementing their own sales process, educating/mentoring the current reps as well as growing the team globally. Prior experience selling software into ISVs and large commerce brands is ideal. This position reports straight into the CEO with potential to grow into a broader role taking over the entire commercial function including customer success and marketing.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of AEs and SDRs across the US, LATAM and EMEA focused on selling into large commerce brands.
  • Set clear performance goals and hold the team accountable for achieving revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular coaching and training sessions to ensure the team is equipped to sell the companies’ solutions effectively.
  • Quota Management and Revenue Growth:
  • Own and manage the revenue targets for the global team, ensuring consistent quota attainment.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, partner success, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Share insights and feedback with leadership to improve the companies’ overall ISV strategy and execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow sell whilst leading a team, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience leading and mentoring sales teams, with a focus on driving performance and accountability.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with customers at the executive level.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and pipeline management tools.
