Vice President of Sales [31172]
Responsibilities
- Oversees the sales staff by creating job expectations and setting quarterly sales goals.
- Monitor the sales teams by using different analytics to ensure they are hitting targeted numbers.
- Manage, coach, discipline, and create improvement plans for employees under preforming.
- Working with Marketing department to design print and outline promotional materials for the company’s products and services.
- Identify where improvements can be made and develop sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Recruiting, hiring, and development of training programs for the sales team.
- Manage sales team, and sales operations.
- Developing and managing sales budgets.
- Setting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, and motivating the sales to achieve the set goals.
- Reviewing customer activity setting trends to anticipate consumer needs and forecasts to improve customer satisfaction.
- Create sale reports to provide feedback to the leadership team.
- Establish and maintain key customer accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to 10 plus years of sales experience.
- 8 years of Industrial sales experience with 5 years of experience managing a sales team.
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude; most be comfortable with technical conversations regarding various industrial applications.
- Previous experience in the fields of hydraulics, tube fittings, or other industrial fitting application is highly encouraged.
- Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Most have excellent client follow up, and strategic/ creative marketing.
- Strong computer skills, CRM software Preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial distribution products
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to manipulate keys on the keyboard. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hand.
- Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand.
