Job Description

As a trusted partner in Data & AI consulting services, Infocion is seeking an exceptional Vice President of Sales to drive high-value consulting deals and expand our footprint in Life Sciences, including Pharma, Biopharma, and Biotech. This is a unique opportunity to own and execute Infocion’s strategic growth in one of the most rapidly evolving industries, leveraging AI-driven innovation, cloud solutions, and data transformation.

MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 8 years of VP-level sales experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, Biopharma, or Biotech, selling large-scale consulting services deals.
  • Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar consulting engagements in AI, data analytics, cloud, and digital transformation within Life Sciences.
  • Success in this role, due to its unique compensation framework, requires existing deep relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across the Life Sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive Infocion’s expansion in Life Sciences, including Pharma, Biopharma, and Biotech.
  • Identify and close high-value Data & AI transformation deals, including data engineering, AI-driven drug discovery, real-world evidence (RWE), clinical trial optimization, and compliance solutions.
  • Position Infocion as a thought leader in AI and digital transformation for Life Sciences.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate, expand, and leverage relationships with C-suite and VP-level executives in R&D, Clinical Operations, IT, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Data Science.
  • Align Infocion’s AI and data-driven solutions with industry challenges such as:
  • AI-powered drug discovery and biomarker identification.
  • Clinical trial innovation (e.g., decentralized trials, patient recruitment).
  • Regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, GxP, HIPAA).
  • Market access and commercialization strategies.
  • Real-world evidence (RWE) and personalized medicine initiatives.

Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, including generative AI, cloud-based data platforms, AI-driven patient stratification, and digital therapeutics.
  • Collaborate with technology partners such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and AI analytics providers to enhance Infocion’s service offerings and market position.
  • Develop strategic alliances with Life Sciences, Pharma, Biopharma, Biotech firms, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and regulatory bodies.

Collaboration & Cross-Selling:

  • Work closely with Infocion’s leadership, delivery teams, and industry experts to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Leverage cross-industry opportunities within Life Sciences, Pharma, Biopharma, and Biotech, ensuring maximum market penetration and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or related). Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) are a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of VP-Level experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of closing large consulting services deals in Life Sciences, Pharma, Biopharma, or Biotech.
  • Deep understanding of industry challenges, including clinical trials, drug development, regulatory frameworks, commercialization, and AI-driven innovation.
  • Established C-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of R&D, Clinical Ops, Regulatory Affairs, Data Science, and Commercial Leaders at top Life Sciences, Pharma, Biopharma, and Biotech companies, CROs, and MedTech firms.
  • Proven ability to "hunt" and close new business, generating multi-million dollar deals through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic account management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Compensation:

  • In the beginning stages, you'll earn a 16% commission on all generated revenue up to $400,000 and the opportunity for retroactive base payment if this revenue generated in 12 months. Once you surpass $400,000, you'll transition to a competitive base salary plus a tiered commission model, unlocking even greater earning potential. Top performers can achieve total compensation up to $700,000 annually.
