Why did we create this role?

​

We are seeking a tech-savvy Solution Engineer with a knack for sales, based in South Florida. In this role, you will showcase our cutting-edge vision AI product, work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, and craft tailored, deal-winning solutions. By bridging technical expertise with business acumen, you’ll play a key role in driving success in a commercial environment.

What will you do?

Responsibilities

​

As our dedicated US-based Solutions Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving our expansion and helping establish our presence in the region. Your responsibilities will include:

​

  • Collaborating closely with HQ colleagues in Ghent, Belgium, and across international teams.
  • Working in our Sunrise, FL office for 2-3 days/week with the US team
  • Supporting sales by demonstrating our product in a commercial setting and addressing technical questions.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our product and its real-world applications.
  • Engaging with customers to uncover their needs and gather critical information to craft compelling, deal-winning solution proposals aligned with our product capabilities.
  • Creating early-stage prototypes using customer data to validate concepts and demonstrate feasibility.
  • Drafting supporting contract documentation.
  • Sharing recurring customer requirements with Product Management to help shape and refine our product roadmap.

Job Requirements

​

Who are you?

​

  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, and a track record of achieving results in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Experienced in working remotely, preferably in a scale-up, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, evolving landscape, proactively identifying what needs to be done without waiting for direction.
  • Passionate about sales processes and bringing a proactive business development mindset to the role.
  • Customer- and solution-focused, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong active listening skills to deeply understand customer needs.
  • Adept at engaging with various stakeholders and collaborating across teams, both locally and internationally.
  • Proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends and technological developments.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with AI-related tools and technologies
  • Background in IT, data science, computer vision, or software development.
  • Based in Florida or willing to relocate, with legal authorization to work in the US.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, industry events, and company meetings in Belgium.
