Director of Sales

Job Title: Director Sales – New Logos  

Department: Sales  

Location: USA/Canada  

Regional Focus: North American Operators  

Travel: As needed  

Overview:

With a strong portfolio of products, global customer references, and a 100% implementation success rate, Alepo is a strong competitor in the digital transformation of the telecommunications industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our digital platform sales.  

The focus of this role is to drive new leads, grow the pipeline and close sales for our BSS, Network Applications and Generative AI portfolio.

Success will mean:

  1. Showcasing experience in managing large complex sales and accounts, emphasizing a carefully orchestrated strategy and sales process versus rushing into deals.  
  2. Demonstrating the ability to generate high-quality leads for new business through continuous business development, direct touch with key stakeholders in large organizations, referrals, networks and partners.  
  3. Creating a qualified pipeline of opportunities.  
  4. Committing to quarterly sales target opportunities and managing the sales process to successfully close deals.  
  5. Demonstrating expertise in managing executive, C-level engagement and tone.  
  6. Managing the sales process through maintaining accurate, current data and reporting in Salesforce CRM.

Experience:

  1. Proven experience selling: MVNO BSS, AAA, PCF, PCRF, Carrier Wi-Fi, 5G Core Solutions  
  2. Knowledge of Generative AI Chatbot Virtual Assistants would be an asset.  
  3. Experience selling SaaS solutions.  
  4. Target Markets: Telecommunications Operators in USA & Canada including Broadband Operators, Utility Telecommunications, Rural Broadband, FTTH, MVNO, Mobile, FWA, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Operators.  
  5. Proven track record of consistently meeting a minimum annual sales booking quota of +USD 3M.  
  6. Professional sales closing tactics.  
  7. Software License, Cloud, Services, and Solution selling.  
  8. Formal sales methodology MEDDIC.  
  9. Accurately maintain, track, forecast, and report opportunities in Salesforce CRM.  
  10. Set realistic management expectations in forecasting opportunities.
