Sales Engineer
Our client, a well-established manufacturer with a rich international history and a track record of stability, is experiencing tremendous growth in their product line. They are looking for a full-time, permanent Sales Engineer position based in Parsippany, New Jersey.
The client seeks a proactive and solution-oriented professional who holds a degree in engineering or a related field and possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience. The preferred candidate will have experience in industrial automation and machinery manufacturing/sales. Strong expertise in technical sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are prerequisites for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customized technical presentations, aligning product capabilities with customer requirements.
- Engage in detailed discussions with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements, offering informed technical advice and solutions.
- Play an integral role in collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements, providing essential sales support and advanced expertise.
- Take charge of local procurement and production matters, including the organization of part purchases and coordination of production modifications with external providers.
- Actively recommend improvements by suggesting material or machinery upgrades that promise cost savings and production enhancements.
Travel Requirements
Candidates must be open to traveling up to 30% domestically which includes attending trade shows and conducting on-site customer visits.
