CLOUD SALES DIRECTOR
As an Atos Cloud Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving cloud sales, building relationships with clients, and understanding their needs to offer tailored cloud solutions, often focusing on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will be responsible for leading a sales team focusing on the acquisition, adoption, and expansion of the full-service portfolio of cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a Sales Team of Specialized Sales Executive in North America to Grow the Cloud Business.
Sales and Business Development:
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Achieving and exceeding annual quota targets by promoting Atos' cloud offerings.
• Managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Understanding complex customer requirements from both business and technical perspectives.
Solution Selling:
• Analyzing client needs and collaborating with solution architects to develop tailored proposals.
• Presenting cloud solutions and services to clients at various levels within their organizations.
• Demonstrating the value of Atos' cloud offerings and solutions.
Cloud Expertise:
• Possessing a strong understanding of cloud journey models, migration services, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
• Staying up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
• Collaborating with Azure teams to identify, pursue, and serve customers.
Account Management:
• Overseeing designated accounts, managing client relationships, and leading sales cycles to close deals.
• Maintaining a disciplined approach to pipeline planning.
• Ensuring client satisfaction and driving customer advocacy.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Working closely with internal teams, including sales, solution architects, and bid managers.
• Communicating effectively with clients at all levels, from operational to CxO level.
• Collaborating with other Cloud Sales Specialists to ensure consistent alignment.
How do I know if I am qualified?
- 10+ years of experience with 5 years of Sales/ Business Development in a technology consulting company.
- Proven track record in new logo acquisition and growing the IT consulting footprint while managing revenue streams.
- Need to have good cloud and infrastructure awareness, some hyperscaler focused expertise (any of the big three) and a prior history of selling into that space. Industry experience helps, along with a strong set of geographic customers (to limit the travel).
- Cloud sales: Preference around selling cloud solutions from the hyperscalers AWS and Azure; Google Cloud.
- Specific solutions: cloud projects; data; cloud transformation, data services and AI (could be a plus).
- Hunting type of profile – to be able to open new accounts and logos; Enable conversation with customers for data projects, transformations.
- Not a pre-sales profile.
- No licenses selling, no product selling!
