The Director, Global Sales Excellence is responsible for maximizing sales productivity through enabling the Commercial team. This person is responsible for driving global core revenue growth (CVD) directly for equipment and indirectly for total revenue. By owning Global Total Funnel $ (TTI) and partnering on $/territory growth, this person will drive significant impact to all regions globally.

This position is part of the Global Commercial Enablement Team, a global team based out of VJ headquarters (Wood Dale, IL) with close and direct connection with local teams globally and is hybrid/remote. This person will directly report to the VP of Global Commercial Enablement with strong connection to the Regional Commercial Leaders.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Sales Strategy Alignment: In concert with Commercial leaders, ensure that the commercial team is aligned with the overall company sales strategy, goals, and targets 
  • Own Sales Metrics and Analytics: Implement systems for tracking and measuring sales performance, providing data-driven insights to improve decision-making.
  • Own Sales Playbook Development/Maintenance: Develop and maintain sales playbooks that guide sales representatives through various sales scenarios, providing best practices and strategies to close deals.
  • Foster Sales Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between sales and other departments, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and product updates

Are you qualified? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or other relevant master’s degree highly preferred
  • 7+ years, proven experience in Sales, Sales support, Sales operations, Marketing, or related role
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform, additional skills with other Data Visualization platform
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights and deploy globally 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and present at an Executive level 
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving growth and achieving targets with a “General Manager” view 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

US ONLY:

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
