Role Description:

As the Director of Digital Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our managed services business. Leveraging your extensive sales experience and strategic mindset, you will develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain high-level client relationships, and lead efforts to exceed substantial multi million sales targets. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating high-value contracts, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will have significant influence over the sales direction and success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth in managed digital marketing services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with SMBs, tech startups, marketing organizations, and agencies.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders at executive levels.
  • Lead high-level negotiations and close deals to consistently exceed sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales objectives with the company's strategic goals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of sales performance metrics.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Potentially build and lead a high-performing sales team as the company scales.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a managed services or agency environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding large sales quotas, managing and delivering on multi million dollar quotas per year.
  • Extensive experience in selling digital marketing services such as social media management, paid social advertising, influencer marketing, and content creation.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and strategic relationship-building skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at the executive level.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, tools, and the competitive landscape.
  • Established network within the marketing and advertising industry.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with high-growth startups or in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Contributions to sales thought leadership or published articles in relevant fields.

Note: Initially, this is a sales incentives position with equity for first few months. Compensation will be primarily based on sales performance, along with potential equity opportunities.
