Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced & motivated sales leader to join the Fly by Jing sales team. The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving distribution and sales with strong data stories, enthusiasm and passion for the brand. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage a mix of data with a small company ownership mentality to help take our business to the next level and have traditional food/mass/club experience. This person will report to our President and be responsible to drive sales, build market share and increase velocity while establishing long-term relationships with buyers, distributors, brokers and key customers. We are looking for someone comfortable not only building key relationships, but also someone who can step into a hand-on role taking ownership over their own set of customers & distributor partners.

Responsibilities:

MEET & EXCEED ANNUAL NEW AND EXISTING REVENUE & PROFIT GOALS FOR THE BRAND

  • Develop strong relationships with key customers, distributors and broker partners
  • Create the strongest network of brokers for the brand
  • Ensure proper execution of our distribution & promotional plan
  • Manage key customer and broker partners, with an over emphasis on Club and Target
  • Create & execute an annual calendar of headquarter visits and business reviews with existing and prospective customers
  • Create effective sales and marketing program presentations to key decision makers
  • Monitoring of OOS & pricing

ON-GOING PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT OF GAP CLOSING PLANS

  • On-going tracking and reporting of key performance indicators including, $s, units, # doors, skus, velocity and market share
  • Development of gap closing plans if not meeting revenue targets
  • Collaboration with marketing team to develop shopper plans/drive performance at top retailers

BUILD THE 2025+ BUSINESS;

Gain new identified doors & skus through proactive plans and relationship building, ensuring we hit all key retailer review deadlines

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Ideally 10+ years experience in the F&B industry, ideally with food, mass & club experience
  • A mix of data rigor with an entrepreneurial mindset & flexibility; ideal to have a mix of large & small CPG experience
  • Exceptional leadership, motivational and collaboration skills
  • Unquestionable personal and business integrity; high standards of excellence
  • A self-directed, self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, roll up your sleeves environment
