Position Overview

We are looking for a proven National Director of Sales to provide leadership to the sales team and grow the sales organization to meet the sales growth objectives of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a key position in the company and as well as a very important role in our management.

The National Director of Sales (NDS) will provide overall leadership to the sales organization and be responsible for the national expansion of the sales force. This position will also be responsible build and manage the sales infrastructure to meet the growing and changing needs of the company and its client base. The NDS will also develop high-level sales strategies and planning for transforming the sales organization abilities to sell in a value based, multi-solution environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct, manage, lead, develop and grow the national sales organization
  • Meet sales targets across product mix.
  • Monitor the establishment, development and enhancement of customer relationships
  • Direct on-going technical training and support to sales organization regarding company’s products and applications
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
  • Evaluate Sales professional development growth and provide effective performance monitoring.
  • Establish goals and objectives to ensure effective execution and optimize productivity of sales professionals.
  • Help develop coordinated marketing strategy for both short- and long-range plans regarding product lines that directly impact the organization’s business

Requirements:

  • Atleast 15 years experience in sales in the auto dealer market in USA.  
  • Demonstrated successes in leading and developing a national sales team and with successful market penetration
  • Deep relationships with Top 100 Auto Dealer Groups
  • Experience in selling Automotive Solutions – Web, CRM, DMS, Marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with external/internal key contacts and “C level” decision makers to build long-term relationships
  • Strong organizational and communication skills including oral presentations, written documentation, computer proficiency, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base
  • Extensive travel may be required
