DSI is a sales enablement company that has an immediate career opportunity for a motivated individual to fill one of our key roles as Director of Sales for our Door to Door (D2D) sales channel.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets. "CEO of your business" mindset is needed. You must ensure the team is equipped with the necessary plans, tools, resources, and training to succeed.

We are looking for someone who will use their experience, skillsets and expertise to develop, drive and deliver solutions that satisfy and delight our clients. You will maintain strong business relationships and make it easy for customers to do business with DSI, by listening, anticipating, and responding to their needs.

Additionally, you will be responsible for prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding new dealers to sell core DSI products.

Travel is required 50% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Trusted advisor to our clients to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets
  • Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with clients to develop and update strategic business plans and forecast production
  • An open mind to personal development for sales training, leadership coaching, and continued professional development
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as ops, analytics, training, and others to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales and KPI performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Lead and manage your sales team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
  • Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand, and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix
  • Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and rewards
  • Ability to qualify, recruit, and launch new dealers with D2D, event, or strategic marketing tactics that can produce scalable volume

Requirements

  • Five or more years of professional-level sales experience; at least two of which are in a sales management role, is preferred
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers, and clients at all levels
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business is preferred
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time
