About The Role:

Ready to join one of the coolest companies around? Artlist is undergoing rapid growth, and we are seeking a Director of Sales to spearhead new business initiatives from our NYC office. In this role, you will report to and collaborate directly with the Global Head of Sales, acting as a strategic partner to drive revenue growth and expand business opportunities across North America.

Wake up For This:

  • Own all new business activity across our North American market including the strategic market development as well as the execution and performance of the team  
  • Lead, inspire, mentor, coach, and directly manage all the Account Executive Team Managers and support individual Account Executives as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.  
  • Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture that aligns with Artlist’s mission and values.  
  • Own the overall sales target and revenue goals for AE teams ensuring consistent growth and profitability.  
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to best manage our inbound traffic but also create initiatives to capture new markets and expand our customer base.  
  • Proactively lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives aligned with the department’s goals in the pursuit of building a world-class new business group.  
  • Scale existing sales processes and build additional processes and infrastructure flows, including the integration of new software with Salesforce to streamline operations.  
  • Provide insights to senior leadership for strategic planning and decision-making.  
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.  
  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive company-wide initiatives and ensure cohesive execution.  
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.  
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the global organization to achieve both strategic and tactical goals.

Qualifications Required:

  • 6+ years of full cycle SaaS sales experience - Essential  
  • 2+ years as a front line manager leading Account Executives - Essential  
  • 1+ years of sales leadership experience at an upper management or director level managing front line managers - Essential.  
  • BA and/or MBA preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.  
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.  
  • Experience working for Product Led Growth companies - Significant plus.  
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.  
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to establish credibility with executive-level clients.  
  • Proven experience providing executive-level support to Account Executives during calls, helping to navigate procurement, legal, and commercial challenges. - Essential  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.  
  • Proficiency in sales software such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and Outreach - Plus

This position has a base salary range of $160,000 - $190,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience, and since ARTLIST has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
