Director of Strategic Sales
Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive with a proven track record of winning new business and driving revenue growth. This role requires a hunter mentality—someone who thrives on identifying opportunities, closing deals, and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate can clearly articulate their five biggest wins from 2024 and demonstrate a history of exceeding sales targets. While the role is remote - we are looking for a candidate that lives in Los Angelos Metro area or will relocate there.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue and business growth.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, leveraging industry insights and competitive intelligence.
- Differentiate and promote products and services through compelling value propositions.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, manufacturer representatives, and distributors, to expand market share.
- Conduct persuasive sales presentations and lead high-impact sales conversations at all levels.
- Attend and represent the company at key industry events, including tradeshows, conferences, and regulatory sessions.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring follow-through from lead generation to closing.
- Develop and execute specific action plans to enhance channel sales performance.
- Provide technical and product training to customers, agents, and distributors.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely sales records, reporting key metrics to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 5-7 years of proven success in sales, with a strong preference for experience in the energy industry or related technical fields.
- Track Record: Must be able to clearly articulate five major sales wins from 2024, demonstrating a history of quota achievement and business growth.
