Job Description

This role is responsible for driving business growth through management of strategic growth and profitability of OSI Sales for Convenience Stores. Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and growth of C-stores products. This role is key to lead strategic vision and will be crucial in identifying new opportunities and while enhancing our market presence.

  • Manage and provide direction on C-Store strategy, vision, and execution. 
  • Develop strategic sales plan tailored to the convenience store market. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key convenience store decision makers. Collaborate with decision makers to put forth new products, ideas, and solutions. 
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers. Set specific goals that align with the overall YOY growth. 
  • Coordinate and manage through internal Legal team, all C-Store related contracts, guarantees and agreements. 
  • Participate in the development of marketing and pricing strategies and assist with the development of sales promotions that effectively achieve organizational sales objectives for assigned products.

Maintain Knowledge Of Company Manufacturing Capabilities And Capacities.

  • Work with Operations to identify and implement cost reduction/capacity enhancing programs that benefit the company and customer.

Attend routine sales meetings representing assigned products,

  • to review facilities, marketing activities and provide sales training sales representatives (as applicable). 
  • Participate in trade shows and other special events; demonstrate product and communicate company capabilities to potential customers. Assist with the development of sales meetings, food shows and other related events. 
  • Develop business with new customers and build relationships with decision makers. 
  • Provide data for developing sales projections, inventory analysis, and ordering plans to meet established objectives.

Lead new product innovation aligned to customer strategic growth goals.

  • Partner with Culinary and Research & Development to identify innovative products that address customer needs.

Maintain files, records, and other documents created during the sales and marketing processes

  • for use in developing reports for management. 
  • Prepare a variety of routine and ad hoc reports for use by management for evaluating progress toward goals and identifying areas of opportunity. 
  • This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

Required Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in related field is preferred. 
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, externally with customers and internally with all levels of management.
  • Food manufacturing plant operations experience preferred.
  • Must understand the dynamics of the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry specifically in the C-Store sector. 
  • Must have a solid understanding of customer relationship management. 
  • Strong Financial acumen. 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • BA/BS or equivalent is preferred. 
  • Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available. 
  • Work conditions are typical of an office environment. 
  • This role requires 30% domestic travel. 
  • Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds. 
  • Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring. 
  • Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
