Position Overview

​

We’re looking for an exceptional full-stack engineer who's passionate about solving tough, practical problems in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain through robust software engineering. You'll be deeply technical and hands-on, writing and shipping production-level code daily across our challenging and diverse tech stack (Rails, React, Next.js, Python/AI, and beyond).

You'll spend your days building pixel-perfect, performance-oriented frontends in React and Next.js, developing scalable backend services in Rails and Python, and architecting powerful, composable software systems generated by AI to streamline complex operational processes. This role demands technical excellence, versatility, and a willingness to dive into highly impactful yet sometimes mundane software engineering tasks critical to real-world industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and ship production code daily across our challenging full-stack environment (React, Rails, Next.js, Python, integrations)
• Build sophisticated, performant frontends with meticulous attention to detail
• Develop scalable, reliable backend services, APIs, and data integrations
• Architect and implement flexible, robust software solutions dynamically composed by AI
• Craft effective AI prompts and continuously improve AI-driven software generation
• Create reusable components and libraries for use across engineering teams
• Implement comprehensive error handling, monitoring, and validation frameworks
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Rapidly make and implement key architectural decisions
• Optimize performance at every layer of the application stack
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, from database schema to UI polish

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years full-stack development experience
• Experience with AI prompting techniques and building AI-powered applications
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Next.js in production
• Deep experience building and maintaining integration systems
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and scalable backend development
• Proven record of shipping complex, end-to-end features independently
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and database design
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices
• Experience developing robust RESTful APIs
• Solid grasp of application performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Frontend state management experience (e.g., Zustand)
• Hands-on experience with message queues and background job processing
• Experience developing in cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
• Extensive experience with data transformation and validation patterns
• Strong understanding of software security best practices
