Position Summary

The Implementation Consultant role is part of the Operations Excellence Team. The Operations Excellence Team supports the building of tools, resources, and programs to support Goddard Schools. The Team also provides consultative services to all departments on new initiatives and best approaches for roll out.

The objective of the Implementation Consultant role is to serve as the conduit between the various departments at GSL sharing innovative IT, curriculum, programming, and operational initiatives to enhance school performance. This role will include delivering new technology-based solutions in a distributed environment.

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for building and deploying standards, programs and tools that elevate operational performance, protects the brand, and builds the Goddard School reputation above and beyond state licensing requirements, ultimately enhancing the franchisee, faculty, and family experience at the school level. The work will be multidisciplined and be dependent on the needs of the franchise organization at any given time.

The Implementation Consultant will provide data analytics for projects within the Operations Excellence department as described in the responsibilities below.

Responsibilities 

  • Develops content, implementation, communication, and sustainment plans for assigned projects, programs, and initiatives. This may include:
  • Developing advanced and/or innovative implementation and/or piloting strategies to ensure quality, prioritization, and operational feasibility prior to rollout.
  • Leading the roll out of technology-based solutions.
  • Leading multiple tracks of work.
  • Setting direction for and coaching partners to achieve results; establishing clear expectations, tactics, and timelines for assigned projects.
  • Collecting project feedback and information to identify problems to solve and optimize performance.
  • Ensuring programs are designed with effective sustainment strategies and can be integrated with existing tools and processes.
  • Analyzing and evaluating project interdependencies and their impacts; working cross-functionally to fully understand interdependencies and ensure solutions support related tracks of work.
  • Collaborates with peers, manager, and interdepartmentally to support and influence decisions on strategic initiatives and projects that impact The Goddard School brand. 
  • Analyze data to identify meaningful patterns, trends and insights into projects. This includes utilizing the data and outcomes to make informed recommendations and decisions.

Experience And Competencies

Minimum Requirements 

  • At least 3 years of experience in consulting, franchise development or operations support.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience leading moderate to highly complex projects (scope, timeline, resources) or project management.
  • Ability to assess the impact of change and develop processes to ensure effective implementation and user acceptance of new processes, products, procedures, or methods.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships. 
  • Ability to operate and influence across all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Strong analytical skills and decision making. 
  • Passion for helping others succeed. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel up to 20%, based on needs of the field and projects in queue.

Highly Desired

  • Experience with franchise systems 
  • Experience/Training in Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience/Training in Change Management practices
  • Experience with the RFP process

There will be periodic requirements to travel for in-person events, at the discretion of your manager or the requirement of the company.
