Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned Implementation Program Manager with a proven track record in both project and program management, capable of seamlessly navigating complex technical implementations from initiation to completion. You will report to the Program Director to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions, diving deep into all aspects of project management for your assigned implementations.

Join our team and play a crucial role in delivering success to our customers while growing your career in a dynamic environment. Through your hands-on project management of critical implementation projects, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' businesses.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and execute several concurrent implementation projects, typically 4-5 mid-size projects and 1-2 large customer deployment programs at a time
  • Take complete ownership of assigned projects from initiation to closure, including detailed planning, execution, monitoring, control, and transition to support.
  • Scope, plan, and execute complex implementation projects that may include core SchedulePro solutions, custom product extensions, HCM integrations, and value-add services components, with a hands-on approach to project management
  • Work cross-functionally with our implementation consultants, integration specialists, and product teams to achieve project goals
  • Manage implementation outcomes, ensuring successful adoption of our solutions by developing and executing comprehensive change management and user adoption strategies
  • Provide regular, detailed project status updates to the Program Director, customer stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proactively anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate these effectively to the appropriate audience in a timely manner throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee, monitor, coach, and quality control Business Process Analysis (BPA) practices, providing strategic direction to consultants on how to effectively apply BPA methodologies in client implementations, to provide a foundation for successful adoption post go-live
  • Orchestrate the configuration of the Shiftboard platform to meet specific customer needs and priorities, working closely with implementation team members
  • Regular project health reporting to key stakeholders within the organization will be a critical responsibility of this role, requiring strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ensure projects achieve customer satisfaction, time-to-value realization, and internal profitability targets through meticulous tracking and management
  • While initially focused on delivery excellence, this role will evolve to include active participation in pre-sales activities, requiring the ability to adapt and grow with the organization's needs. During project delivery you will also identify and refer opportunities for add-on product and services
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for your implementation projects
  • Influence customer decision-making processes, guiding them towards choices that align with project success and mutual long-term benefit
  • Contribute to developing best practices and standardization of project management processes based on your hands-on experience

Skills you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of project management experience in technology consulting or similar client-facing roles in SaaS implementations
  • Proven track record of managing at least two full lifecycle implementations of complex cloud-based technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) with practical application experience
  • Familiarity with Workforce Management and/or Human Capital Management domains
  • Experience with Business Process Automation (BPA) concepts and implementation, including workflow design, process optimization, and integration of automation tools within enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve client issues/concerns; coordinate with appropriate internal departments to provide responses and/or solutions that improve all aspects of the customer experience with Shiftboard
  • Experience in scope management and budget tracking, focusing on project-level financials
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration within the scope of assigned projects
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams within a project
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects/teams – effectively managing stakeholder expectations at the corporate HQ level and at the location/site level
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and oversee day-to-day project challenges

What sets you apart

  • PMP or other project management certification
  • Experience with manufacturing industry clients
  • Ability to understand and optimize customer workflows, and practical experience in implementing BPA solutions
  • Knowledge of change management principles and their application in project contexts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Experience with project management tools and software and the ability to optimize their use for project tracking and reporting

What you'll get
