Responsibilities:

• The Presales Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting business development and engineering expertise within the Electrical Distribution and Switchgear Market.
• Customer facing position with a goal to provide a understanding of customer applications.
• Ability to develop engineering solutions and to support the development of new products for the market.
• Ability to understand customer’s application requirements and translate that into understanding internal capability for development and support the ability to provide solutions.
• Create business analysis for the customer needs by working with sales, operations, and engineering teams by developing solutions for new product development starting from the research, planning, development, and implementation phases.
• Seeking a creative engineer that is experienced in working with and meeting with customers via phone and face to face.
• Ability to support and create new marketing content.
• Eventually this person will become the subject matter expert for our customers’ applications in the electrical distribution and switchgear markets.

Must Have:

• Candidate MUST live in St. Louis Missouri
• Candidate MUST have an Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• Seeking a candidate with 1 to 3 years’ experience in a customer facing engineering position.
• The role will start in the office, then will move to hybrid, 3 days in office 2 days’ work from home with 25% travel.
