Presales Engineer
Our client, a European leader in the SaaS industry specializing in solutions for Charging Point Operators and companies managing charging station networks, is hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer to focus on the French and European market
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage at every stage of the Pre-Sales process, including:
- Assisting with lead qualification
- Leading and coordinating demonstrations of the complete solution portfolio (including to C-level executives)
- Managing internal presales processes from the opportunity to contract finalization
- Collaborating with Operations, Product, R&D, and other relevant stakeholders
- Acting as the solution architect in key bids, driving forward solutions for prospects
- Engaging with customers, prospects, market experts, and colleagues to understand requirements and design solution portfolios accordingly
- Training internal staff on solution usage when necessary
- Developing ROI and business case justification proposals for new business opportunities
- Conducting Pre-Sales consultancy to identify business returns for prospects and justify the ROI for our solutions
- Scoping technical solutions to address customer business and technical needs
- Writing technical proposals in commercial offers/RFQs/RFPs
- Crafting technical outlines for trials/Proof of Concepts
- Providing the company with valuable customer feedback to identify market trends, product enhancements, and roadmap priorities
- Conducting training sessions for customers on product functionalities
Skills:
- Pre-sales experience in Telecom markets and/or EV charging – preferred
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills for both small and large audiences
- Background in electrical engineering – beneficial
- Effective listening skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Self-driven with a commitment to delivering quality service internally and externally
- Adaptable to working independently or as part of a team
- Commercially oriented
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and prospects
- Capability to analyze and understand customer requirements and key motivators
- Proficient in discussing and demonstrating business benefits and value propositions to prospects of varying seniority and expertise
- Ability to translate technical and business requirements into cost-effective proposals
