Presales Solution Engineer
Job Description
Stefanini EMEA is looking for a Presales Solution Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Center team. In this role, the ideal candidate will work with our clients, the Stefanini sales team, and the Service Delivery SMEs, to understand client technology requirements, propose technical & managed services solutions from our portfolio and guide the client to the right solution in a consultative way.
Job responsibilities:
- Understand and be able to present to our clients and prospects the current services Portfolio;
- Work with our clients and sales team to understand the technical challenges & requirements of our clients and prospects;
- Facilitate internal discussions to qualify opportunities and decisions on bid continuation;
- Work with our clients and sales team to present both technical and managed services solutions to our clients and prospects;
- Quickly and effectively gather client's IT & business requirements;
- Gather and send follow-up and clarifying questions to our clients and prospects;
- Hold kick-off meetings, client workshops and internal debrief meetings to drive solutions co-creation activities;
- Work with our experts in different domains to define the best solution for our clients matching both technical, operational, and budgetary requirements;
- Write proposal narrative and leverage and re-use current proposal boilerplate information;
- Integrate technical and cost volumes and coordinate with Stefanini opportunity owners and Tower Leads to review proposals pricing;
- Submit a final proposal for client consideration;
- Maintain the presales bid tracker;
- Manage client's expectations, drive client deliverables, and exercise scope control to ensure a successful bid management process;
- Effectively communicate and work with C-Level sponsors, internal and client teams, international and multi-cultural clients;
- Effectively communicate complex ideas and persuade clients to adopt the recommended proposal;
- Understand contract requirements and conditions and prepare SOW(s)/MSA(s) accordingly for won proposals.
Job requirements:
- Broad expertise in the technology presales & solutioning domain (>4 years) and should be able to understand customer technology challenges and requirements and discuss such challenges with our clients and prospects;
- Experience in a customer-facing technology presales role;
- Ability to translate those requirements into solutions throughout the presales phase using 3rd party security technologies & Stefanini Managed Services;
- Understanding and experience with creating solutions in application development, infrastructure or service desk;
- Ability to work autonomously to assist in developing client proposals and support the sales teams & clients with specialized expertise. This includes responding to customer demands, responding to RFP requests, and have an advising role to customers during sales cycles;
- A customer-oriented attitude and strong communication & presentation skills are a requirement;
- Logical thinking & systematic approach for problem-solving;
- Proficiency English in writing and verbal/ Proficiency in any additional West European languages would be a plus;
- Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details;
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with external and internal customers;
- Experience working in a multi-national organization and having good cultural sensitivity awareness.
