Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The Presales Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering tailored solutions using the Butler Suite of products on Salesforce. Acting as a bridge between technical expertise and customer engagement, you will support pre-sales activities, provide impactful demonstrations, and ensure clients maximize the value of PDF Butler’s solutions. Your contributions will directly impact our growth, customer satisfaction, and ability to remain a trusted Salesforce ISV partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Solutions and Demonstrations
- Develop and deliver compelling proof-of-concept demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
- Configure and customize Salesforce solutions, leveraging APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and integrations.
- Ensure all solutions align with Salesforce best practices and exceed customer expectations.
- Pre-Sales Support and Collaboration
- Partner with the Sales team to understand client needs and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
- Address technical queries and challenges to assist in closing deals successfully.
- Customer Success Enablement (20%)
- Work directly with customers to design and optimize Salesforce configurations using PDF Butler products.
- Provide hands-on training and support to ensure successful adoption and long-term satisfaction.
- Product Feedback and Innovation
- Collaborate with Product Managers to share customer feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Stay informed about Salesforce innovations and identify ways to integrate them into PDF Butler solutions.
- Community Engagement and Growth
- Actively participate in Salesforce communities and events to build expertise and promote PDF Butler’s solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Salesforce solutioning, pre-sales support, or implementations.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce configuration and coding (APEX, LWC, Aura, API callouts).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and process automation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration techniques and tools.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
