Role: Project Manager - Workday Implementation  

Reporting Location: Remote  

Duration: 12 Months  

Pay range: $55 to $58/Hr. on W2  

Primary function of position:  

  • This team member will report to the Senior Manager of Onboarding & Talent Practices and will be focused on the project management and execution of Workday related behaviour and system changes regarding the implementation of this new tool as it relates to Talent Practices in HR.  
  • This person should have a background which exhibits expertise in operational excellence, business process development and change management.  
  • The primary focus of this person’s role will be to provide project management across the entire execution of the Talent Practices year of implementation for Workday for employees and leaders across the globe, from planning, to launch to execution.  
  • This person will require a global mindset, will be able to quickly comprehend unique regional challenges and opportunities, and will be able to provide functional project management for multiple worldwide regions simultaneously.  
  • The person must excel in a high-energy team environment and be capable of making sound moves when faced with the time pressures.  

Certified PM preferred. Must have experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.  

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  • Escalate threats and missed dates to leader and team.  
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure all milestones and timelines are met.  
  • Predict resources needed to reach goals and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.  
  • Project manage all aspects of Workday transformation for the Talent Practices system and behaviour changes for 2025.  

Functionally, work includes:  

  • Identifying critical path milestones and developing project plans/timelines.  
  • Leading core team forums to track milestone developments, flag risks and potential project delays and develop contingency plans, evaluate options for ensuring commercial and regional readiness, ensure proper flow of communications.  
  • Partnering with SMEs to perform comprehensive regional requirements then coordinating development of processes to ensure compliance to regional requirements.  
  • PMP a plus.  
  • Available to meet frequently with international teams outside of normal business hours.  
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills.  
  • Written and oral fluency in English required.
