The Opportunity
Are you a Sage Intacct expert who thrives on building and optimizing? Do you get excited about transforming a blank slate into an efficient, scalable process? If you love working hands-on in implementations, guiding internal teams and external clients through seamless transitions, and designing best practices from the ground up, this could be your perfect role.

One of Blackmere’s clients, a dynamic and forward-thinking advisory firm, seeks a Sage Intacct Implementation Manager to spearhead end-to-end implementations, optimize accounting workflows, and establish repeatable processes for long-term success.

This is not just another implementation job—an opportunity to own the process and be the go-to expert in an organization that is scaling its capabilities. If you’ve ever thought, "I wish I could build this the right way from the start," this is your chance.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations from discovery to go-live, including QBO/QBD conversions, system configuration, integrations, and data migrations.
- Develop repeatable, scalable implementation processes—from SOPs and discovery call templates to internal pricing structures.
- Serve as the go-to Sage Intacct expert for clients and internal teams, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and ensuring smooth post-implementation operations.
- Build and refine dashboards, advanced reports, and financial analytics to meet client needs.
- Collaborate on business development efforts, advising on scoping, pricing, and project feasibility during sales cycles.
- Guide and train internal teams, ensuring they can confidently manage day-to-day operations within Sage Intacct.
- Act as a bridge between implementation and ongoing support, ensuring a seamless transition for clients and internal teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit
- 7+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct implementation experience, including at least 15 full-cycle implementations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with multiple accounting software platforms (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, FP&A tools, etc.).
- Certified Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist (or equivalent certifications).
- Experience building structured, repeatable processes from scratch—if you’ve written SOPs, designed discovery call templates, or built out best practices, you’ll thrive in this role.
- A hands-on, player-coach mindset—this isn’t a purely strategic role. You need to be comfortable doing the work, troubleshooting issues, and guiding both clients and teams.
- A problem-solver attitude, always looking for ways to optimize workflows and find workarounds when challenges arise.
- Comfort in a consulting or client-advisory services environment—experience working with multiple businesses and industries is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a client-friendly demeanor—you’ll be interfacing with executives, finance teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting and collaborate with a team when needed.

Bonus Points For
- CPA or prior experience in a CPA firm
- Experience with other ERP systems (NetSuite, Acumatica, Yardi, etc.)
- Background in process automation and system integrations

Why You’ll Love This Role
This is an opportunity to shape and build something lasting. You won’t just be plugging into an existing structure—you’ll be defining how this practice operates. You’ll get to work with a supportive, forward-thinking team while also having the autonomy to implement your own ideas.
- Flexibility & Work-Life Balance – Remote-friendly with preferred locations, hybrid options, and flexible schedules.
- Growth & Impact – Your work will directly shape how this firm approaches Sage Intacct implementations and ongoing support.
- Competitive Compensation & Benefits – Strong salary, 16 weeks of paid maternity/adoption leave, paid parental leave, caregiver leave, first-class health benefits, professional coaching, and leadership development programs.
If you’re technical and strategic and love working hands-on while also building scalable systems and best practices, this is your chance to make an impact.
