K44 is seeking an experienced Sales Leader for a premier manufacturer/distributor in the building products industry.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and guiding a team of sales representatives within a team by setting goals and quotas, building a sales plan and assigning sales training and territories.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly.
• Reviewing market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
• Advising dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
• Analyzing sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
• Directing product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
• Representing company at trade association meetings to promote products.
• Delivering sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
• Preparing periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client based expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Countertop experience highly preferred
• Must have prior or current supervisory experience
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Good business sense
• Ability to motivate, coach, mentor and lead a team
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Good planning and organization skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or two to four years of related experience and/or training
