About the role
Digital Remedy is looking for a savvy Senior Data Solutions Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts. As a Senior Data Solutions Engineer you will help mentor and coach others on the data team around best practices as well as being responsible for designs, builds, maintaining and troubleshooting data processing systems with a particular emphasis on the security, reliability, fault-tolerance, scalability, fidelity and ever improving efficiency for these critical enterprise systems. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing our company’s data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.
What you'll do
- Implement end-to-end data analytics solutions (from data ingestion through visualization) for large-scale, complex data ecosystems.
- Design and plan a cloud solution to maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Model business processes for analysis and optimization.
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishments.
- Strives for continued learning opportunities to build on craft.
Qualifications
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with a minimum of at least 2 years of hands-on experience in building and optimizing data solutions.
- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in optimizing large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and datasets, demonstrating a strong understanding of performance tuning and scalability.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with Google Cloud Platform's big data tools and services, including: Dataflow, Dataplex, BigQuery, ML, Cloud Storage.
- Working knowledge of stream and batch data processing methodologies.
- Experience with other highly scalable big data processing & storage solutions.
- Experience implementing data security measures, including data privacy regulations, access controls, encryption, and data masking techniques.
- Ability to design and implement processes for data transformation, data structuring, metadata management, dependency tracking, and workload management.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the Digital Marketing, Advertising, Media, or Ad Tech industries (highly desirable).
- Preferred candidates will be located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Salary Range
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. This position is full-time, includes benefits with work occurring during typical weekday business hours. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
