Senior Regional Sales Director
Role Overview:
As a pharmaceutical Regional Sales Director, you will spearhead sales strategy across a multi-state region, driving market expansion and achieving revenue targets. You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team while building strong relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare professionals. Experience in the CNS and/or ophthalmology markets is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive regional growth and achieve targets.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives.
- Cultivate relationships with key specialty providers and industry partners.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills - must have experience developing and managing sales teams in current/most recent role.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in CNS disorders and/or ophthalmology verticals preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the CNS and/or ophthalmology pharmaceutical market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
