Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a motivated and career-oriented Solutions Engineer specializing in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing secure technology solutions to protect digital assets and data. The Solutions Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure solutions that align with business objectives, focusing on cybersecurity technologies such as multi-factor authentication, network security, and trust architecture. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development, and culture of an exciting and fast-growing company in the cybersecurity market.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and implementing secure technology solutions to meet cybersecurity requirements, ensuring the protection of digital assets and data.
  • Developing and deploying security strategies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), network security, and trust architecture solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborating with sales, product management, and development teams to ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
  • Leveraging expertise in network-level and device-level security to implement firewall policies, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
  • Providing technical guidance on security solutions, including identity and access management (IAM) and MFA.
  • Analyzing complex security challenges and developing innovative solutions to address them.
  • Communicating complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Staying up to date with emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends to enhance solution offerings.

What you need to know: 

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including multi-factor authentication, zero trust architecture, network security, and device-level engineering.
  • Proficiency with IAM, MFA, and network security tools.
  • Expertise in network and device-level security engineering, including firewall policies, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple cybersecurity projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to addressing cybersecurity needs.
  • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Must have’s: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity-focused role, such as Solutions Engineer, Cybersecurity Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer with a focus on security solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to develop undefined tasks into actionable processes and work streams.
  • Candidate is required to be a US Citizen (non-dual citizenship) with the ability to obtain federal agency required security clearance.

Beneficial to have the following: 

  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity initiatives.
