We are currently assisting a rapidly growing global leader in automated warehouse systems, seeking an Automation Solutions Engineer to join their team. With a presence in multiple countries and increasing demand for their solutions, they are looking to expand their specialized team.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical support and expertise, ensuring the successful design and delivery of automation solutions. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, is comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, and is passionate about logistics automation.
Through structured training and hands-on product immersion, you will acquire the necessary technical knowledge to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. This position offers the chance to contribute directly to the success and growth of a global customer network.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provide proactive technical support for sales teams on projects and technical inquiries.
- Collaborate on concept design and simulations with the sales team and partners to develop tailored automation solutions.
- Offer technical product support and resolve issues for both internal teams and external customers.
- Develop and deliver technical training sessions and materials to global distributors and internal teams.
- Manage and maintain design tools, including testing and documentation processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering, logistics, or a related technical field.
- Strong data analysis skills with a focus on problem-solving and technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of logistics processes and automation technology in material handling.
- Experience with automated systems in warehouse or similar environments is preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills, with a proven ability to train and engage diverse audiences.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 15%).
