Position Overview
As a Solutions Engineer (SE), you’ll play a pivotal role in the Sales Business Unit, driving strategic customer and partner relationships. Your technical expertise will help shape client experiences and accelerate the adoption of Powersoft’s innovative pro audio solutions. You'll work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend solutions that align with their business goals.
This role blends technical acumen with customer-facing responsibilities, positioning you as a trusted advisor for clients. You’ll lead pre-sales activities, from discovery calls to technical presentations, while ensuring seamless communication with Business Development, Sales, and Technical Support teams. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support, including product specifications, system design, and technical recommendations.
- Conduct discovery calls and customer demos, showcasing Powersoft’s solutions and addressing customer pain points.
- Lead training sessions for clients and partners on Powersoft products and AV solutions, ensuring technical understanding.
- Offer technical assistance to major installation projects, either remotely or on-site, ensuring successful deployment.
- Analyze tender documents and provide technical support to system integrators and consultants in preparing submissions.
- Represent Powersoft at tradeshows, networking events, and client meetings to build brand awareness and establish long-term partnerships.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and installing Pro AV systems.
- Deep understanding of AoIP protocols (Audio over IP).
- Training and communication skills to effectively share knowledge with clients and teams.
- A customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with business targets.
- Proficiency in Windows OS and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Must have
- AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification
- Dante Level 3 certification
- Experience with control systems like QSYS Level 2 (Standard or Cinema), Crestron, Symetrix, or Control4.
- Audio Visual Network Professional Certification
- Must be familiar with SMAART Sound system measurement, optimization, and control software.
