Job Overview

​

Neo4j is looking for a Solutions Engineer Intern with a track record of success to join our solutions team. We’re looking for someone passionate about building enterprise class business solutions, working with sales to demonstrate these solutions to key customers and prospects, conduct proof-of-concept and evangelize solutions internally and externally.

​

This role requires technology integration, data modeling and full-stack development skills. Hands-on proficiency with Javascript, Python and SQL or GraphQL are required. Experience with UI development using React is a plus. You will be building industry leading solutions leveraging Neo4j graph technologies and allied open source / commercial software.

​

Responsibilities And Growth Opportunities

​

• Assist with Kubernetes Migration: Support the migration of over 100 graph-based demos from legacy VMs to a centralized Kubernetes environment, improving efficiency and scalability.
• Enhance Demo Infrastructure: Work on enhancing demo infrastructure by upgrading products used in the demos (e.g., Loom) and optimizing deployment processes.
• Automate CI/CD Processes: Develop and implement new CI/CD pipelines to streamline demo deployment and management.
• Hands-On Experience: Gain real-world experience with Kubernetes, demo execution, and infrastructure improvement while driving meaningful impact on a large-scale project.

Required Experience

​

• A minimum of 2 years of IT experience as a solutions or data engineer supporting enterprise software solutions
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, full stack Java or Javascript development and associated frameworks, integration technologies like JMS / Kafka / Informatica / MQ / Apache Hop
• Ability to work with our professional services team on client specific bespoke development projects or do solution demos and proofs-of-concept
• Experience building enterprise class solutions with high performance, scale and operational requirements
• Excellent foundation in software best practices
• Experience working in AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Bonus Experience

​

• Experience implementing GraphQL based API
• Experience with the React framework
• Experience with Fraud Detection or Recommendation algorithms
• Experience implementing Neo4j’s graph platform or another graph database
• Vertical industry experience in either financial services, retail, hi-tech manufacturing
• Enterprise start-up & software as a service company experience

The hourly rate range for this position based in the United States is listed below.

​

This hourly rate range is an estimate, and the actual hourly rate may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range.

​

In addition to the range below, certain roles in the US are eligible for a stock option grant and annual bonus. Certain employment types are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
