Our client is a leading fintech company revolutionizing the alternative investment space with $218 billion in assets under management. Their platform supports wealth management firms, financial institutions, and asset managers in delivering tailored strategies for high-net-worth clients. The company is now launching a new identity management platform to streamline investor onboarding, compliance, and fraud prevention for highly regulated financial institutions.
Role Overview
The Solutions Engineer will play a key role in the launch and implementation of this identity management platform. This role requires working with clients to design and deploy tailored KYC/KYB solutions, ensuring seamless integration and smooth onboarding. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, address challenges, and drive client success throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client KYC/KYB workflows and compliance needs.
- Design and deploy customized KYC/KYB solutions within clients' existing systems.
- Assist with integrations, from technical specs to live deployment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to KYC/KYB, data, and APIs.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise clients on compliance.
- Lead demos and PoCs to demonstrate the platform's capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to integrate client feedback.
- Educate teams and clients on new features, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in KYC, KYB, and AML processes and their integration into financial institutions' systems.
- Experience with API/SDK integrations and building custom solutions for regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of global regulations (e.g., FATF, GDPR, CDD, EDD).
- Proficiency in web technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, OAuth) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., encryption, data privacy).
- 10+ years in a client-facing technical role within SaaS/fintech for regulated industries.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with financial institutions, fintech, or other regulated sectors.
- Relevant compliance or identity management certifications (e.g., CAMS, CIMP) a plus.
- Familiarity with identity verification vendors (e.g., Persona, Onfido, Trulioo) is a plus.
