Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in project management and leading software implementation.
  • Proven experience with Clarity PPM implementation(s) in an enterprise environment for a Fortune 500 company with a large volume of projects.
  • Extensive experience with multiple modules of Clarity PPM, including but not limited to Project Management, Resource Management, Financial Management, and Portfolio Management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have Skills

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clarity PPM Implementation Manager to lead the transition of our client’s in-house project management tool, PlanPlus, to Clarity PPM. This role will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of Clarity PPM, ensuring that all 900+ projects annually are effectively managed and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Clarity PPM, including system configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and execute a detailed project plan for the implementation process, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the migration of all projects from PlanPlus to Clarity PPM, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, providing regular updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the implementation process.
  • Oversee the development and delivery training programs for end-users to ensure a smooth transition and effective use of Clarity PPM.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for users following initial launch, addressing any issues or concerns that arise post-implementation.
  • Utilize Clarity PPM to manage and monitor the organization’s project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Generate and analyze reports on project performance, resource allocation, and portfolio health.
  • Recommend improvements and optimizations to enhance project and portfolio management processes.
