The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Pre-Sales Engineer to support our digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing. In this mid-level role, you will work directly with U.S.-based prospective clients to understand their operational challenges, deliver compelling technical product demonstrations, and lead tailored proof-of-concepts that pave the way for successful implementations. Your technical expertise and proactive client engagement will be key to positioning FactTwin as a leader in industrial digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Market Analysis:
- Collaborate with manufacturing clients to identify digital transformation opportunities and understand their unique operational challenges.
- Align FactTwin’s Industrial IoT and automation solutions with client needs within the U.S. manufacturing landscape.
- Provide market feedback and insights to help tailor our offerings to local industry requirements.
Technical Product Demonstrations:
- Deliver engaging, technical presentations and live demos that showcase the innovative features and benefits of FactTwin’s digital transformation solutions.
- Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations at client sites, trade shows, and industry events.
Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Leadership & Proposal Development:
- Lead the design and execution of tailored proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the tangible value of our solutions.
- Develop customized technical proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with the sales and engineering teams.
Technical Advisory & Integration:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, addressing client questions and providing strategic guidance on integration strategies.
- Assist clients with technical planning and implementation to ensure seamless adoption of FactTwin’s solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a similar role within industrial automation or IoT.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems such as PLCs, SCADA, and MES, along with experience in data integration.
- Familiarity with cloud and edge computing environments is a plus.
Communication & Presentation Skills:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to engage clients and build strong technical relationships.
Industry Insight:
- Practical understanding of digital transformation in manufacturing and familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. for client engagements and industry events.
