Scanmarker, a leading EdTech startup in the ESL space, is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our expansion across the United States.
Our flagship product, the Scanmarker Pro, is a pen scanner with a built-in screen that is transforming how ESL students engage with language. With a simple swipe over printed text, it instantly translates a line into over 100 languages. The translation appears on the screen in both the original and target languages and can be read out loud in both languages, with support for Bluetooth earbuds for discreet listening in the classroom.
Scanmarker has achieved significant success in the B2C market, with over 5,000 reviews on Amazon. The company also sells directly to the education sector and is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand its sales efforts within this market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting K-12 schools, districts, and ESL/ELL programs across the U.S.
• Cultivate relationships with superintendents, ESL coordinators, curriculum directors, and educational technology leaders.
• Represent Scanmarker at national and regional education conferences—managing exhibit booths, demonstrating the Scanmarker Pro, and generating high-quality leads.
• Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract signing, with a focus on long-term customer engagement and district-level adoption.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in K-12 EdTech sales, with a strong focus on the U.S. ESL/ELL market.
• Deep understanding of the U.S. public school system, including ESL program needs and procurement processes.
