Job Overview:

We seek an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving sales growth by combining technical expertise with sales acumen. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to provide expert knowledge, demos, and solutions to prospective clients. You will be responsible for understanding the client's technical needs and translating those into actionable solutions that align with our products or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs, deliver product demonstrations, and develop technical sales strategies.
  • Solution Design: Work with clients to understand their business problems and design tailored solutions that meet their requirements, including architecture design, integrations, and proof of concepts (POC).
  • Product Knowledge Expert: Become a product expert, maintaining a deep understanding of the features, functionality, and applications of the product portfolio.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, including technical documentation, timelines, and cost estimates in collaboration with the sales and product teams.
  • Customer Presentations: Deliver high-quality technical presentations to clients, articulating the value of our solutions and overcoming technical objections.
  • Technical Sales Enablement: Train and mentor sales staff on product functionality and technical advantages to ensure they can effectively sell the product.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the product, R&D, and customer support teams to relay customer feedback and help shape future product development.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, working with internal teams to ensure successful deployment and integration post-sale.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and technical influencers at prospect and customer organizations.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ products to provide clients with the most relevant and innovative solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Support the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that all technical aspects of the sale are handled smoothly.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Sales Engineering or Technical Solutions role, preferably in a B2B or technical environment.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in Networking / Data Privacy  
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with business goals and close sales.
  • Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose issues and provide clear, actionable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with experience working in cross-functional environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified, etc.) are a plus.
